Our Summer 2010 social skills groups are forming to meet weekly from with two groups forming – one for teens ages 13 through 17 and another group for young adults ages 18 through 30.
Teens Social Thinking Group
Social problem-solving will be taught in a structured-environment with cooperative learning activities where students can experience success. Students will learn through the ILAUGH Model of Social Cognition (Winner, 2000) and the I Can Problem solve (Shure & Israeloff, 2001) approaches as well as learn how to use Braidy® from Story GrammarMarker® (Moreau) to learn how to take another’s perspective.
Young Adults Social Thinking Group
Whether a book or movie club fits your style, come join our group to learn about the nuances of interacting in the real world, including accepting constructive criticism. Improving your executive functioning will help you to make best use of your organizational skills for daily living.
